We are in search of a highly experienced and skilled asphalt professional with a CDL License to join our team. If you have a proven track record in the asphalt paving industry, possess a deep knowledge of the craft, and have your CDL license, we want to hear from you!  As an essential member of our asphalt crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing asphalt paving and maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt construction, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

1. Asphalt Paving: Execute asphalt paving tasks, including asphalt placement and compaction, while ensuring the highest quality finish.
2. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for asphalt installation, which may include excavation, grading, and the application of base materials.
3. Operate Asphalt Roller: Utilize asphalt rollers to achieve the proper compaction and smoothness of asphalt surfaces, ensuring that projects meet required specifications. Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment, including asphalt pavers rollers and skid steers.
4. Repair and Maintenance: Participate in asphalt repair and maintenance activities, such as patching, crack sealing, and resurfacing.   
5. Quality Control: Maintain a keen eye for detail and consistently uphold quality control measures to ensure finished projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a safe and hazard-free work environment.
7. Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of asphalt equipment and tools, such as pavers, compactors, and grinders, in a safe and proficient manner. Load and unload materials, tools and equipment onto trucks and trailers using proper safety procedures.
8. CDL License:  Drive trucks to transport asphalt, equipment, and materials to and from job sites. (Preferred). Our projects are typically within an hour from our office.
9. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

EXPERIENCE

• Driving Record: Valid CDL license (preferred) with a clean driving record. 
• Experience: Proven experience in asphalt paving and maintenance.
• Skills: Proficiency in using asphalt equipment and tools, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety: Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Licensing:  A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a CDL license.
